It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Randolph Snelson (Faith, North Carolina), who passed away on January 15, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Randolph Joseph Snelson and Elsie Collins Snelson Sumner; his wife LaVada Snelson; and his siblings, Alan Snelson, Golda Hendricks and Hazel Howell.
He is survived by: his brother Philip Snelson (Ellen); and his daughters, Dennie Lane (Larry) of Lebanon, TN, Deborah Jones (Frank) and Deanna Burris of Asheville. He is also survived by three step grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; five step great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren along with many, much loved, nieces and nephews.
