It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Tempie Renould Hill of Faison, North Carolina, who passed away on November 18, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harvey Cobbs Sr. and Elinor Faison; her spouse Mozel Hill; and her sons, Mitchell and Larry Hill.

She is survived by: her children, Mary Foskey of Elizabeth City, Kenneth Hill (Elaine) of Milwaukee, WI, Tronso Hill (Sally) of Faison and Lawrence Hill (Charmaine) of Alexandria, VA; and her siblings, Samuel Faison of Faison, Harvey Cobb Jr. (Evelyn) of Hampton, VA, Betty Cobb Frederick (William) of Faison and Carthel Cobb. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren.
