He was predeceased by: his mother Maggie Mae Hatcher. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Gray Smith (Herring); and his daughters, Amanda Lee of Warsaw, NC, Jessica Somers of Beulaville, NC and Rebecca Moss of Albertson, NC. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
