With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ralph J. Smith Sr. of Faison, North Carolina, who passed away on October 31, 2024 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Livie Smith and Francis Artis Smith; and his daughter Cathy. He is survived by: his wife Rosa; his children, Ralph Jr. (Terri), Willis (Angela), Julie, Roslin and Lee Etta; his grandchildren, Tabitha, Ashley of Milton, AJ, Domonique and Andrew; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Tierney and Lillian.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Garris Funeral Home (812 SW Center St, Mt Olive, NC 28365). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the St. Stephens United Holy Church (1373 Wilmington Rd, Turkey, NC 28393). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at the Carver Cemetery South Breazeale.
