It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lettie Lucille Armwood of Faison, North Carolina, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Quincy Lewis and Rena Faison Lewis; and her daughter Joyce Ann Armwood. She is survived by: her children, Edgar Armwood Jr. (Barbara Jean) of Turkey, Dan Armwood (Sharon) of Clinton, Mitchell Earl Armwood (Norma) of Newton Grove, Shurby Jean Lewis of Garner, Barbara Ann Newton (Sylvester) of Harrells and Irene Armwood of Faison; and her sister Elma McCalop of Faison. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
