He is survived by: his wife Lois Jennette Blackman; his daughter Martha Blackman-Hughes (John) of Apex; and his sisters, Dora Lee Tyndall of Faison, Annette Blackman of Faison, Nellie Honeycutt of Clinton and Mildred Best of Clinton.
