It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Warren (Faison, North Carolina), who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Hines and Inez Oates Hines; her husband Kenneth Roland "Smutt" Warren, Sr.; and her sisters, Margaret Scott, Signa Drewry, Kathleen Hatcher, Georgianna Burch, TGheona "Toni" Bumgardner, Melinda Sutton, Herbie Jones and Sallie Britt.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy W. (Carlton Cashwell), Kenneth R. "Ken" Warren, Jr. (Gail A. Warren), Joe Travis Warren (Peggy Warren) and Karen W. Newman (Tom Newman); and her sister Gwen Jones of Dudley. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
