He is survived by: his wife Sharon McCarty (Caddell); his mother Ramona McCarty (Box) of Plainview, TX; his children, Jerry "Bucky" of Faison, Chase McCarty of Faison and Jessica McCarty of Magnolia, NC; and his siblings, Stanley McCarty of Plainview, TX, Robert McCarty of Faison, NC and Stacy Wade of Plainview, TX. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
