It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ann Warren Matthews (Faison, North Carolina), who passed away on January 27, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Donald Rose Matthews; her parents, John W. Warren and Effie Lane Warren; and her siblings, Beulah Warren, Edna Warren, Hazel W. Rackley, Grace W. Walton, John W. Warren, Jr., Bill Warren, Carlton "Pete" Warren and Kenneth "Smutt" Warren.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn (Susan Matthews), Eddie (Ollie Matthews), Susan (Alan Pearce) and David (Lynda Matthews). She is also survived by six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers it is requested that memorial gifts be made to Faison United Methodist Church, PO Box 417, Faison, NC 28341, the home church of the Warren family.
