Virginia Lee Hicks Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia Lee Hicks of Fairview, North Carolina, born in Wayne, West Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2023 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Burgess Pelfrey and Minnie Lee Pelfrey; her husband Clyde Thomas Hicks; her daughter-in-law Linda Hicks; her granddaughter Rebekah Hicks; and her brother Don Pelfrey.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Hicks (Belinda) and Pam Neff (Ted); her grandchildren, Stephanie Rogone (Anthony), Jason Hicks, Adam Neff and Erin Cole (Joe); her stepgrandson Matthew Traugott; her great grandchildren, John Rogone, Landon Hicks, Clyde Cole and Shepard Cole; and her siblings, Clarice Waggoner, Nancy Newton (Jim), Shirley Berger (Jon), Mary Allen and Jimmy Pelfrey (Donna). She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lee Park Church, c/o "Bolivia Missions Trip", 2505 Morgan Mill Rd., Monroe, NC 28110 to further the spreading of the gospel.
