He was predeceased by: his parents, Osbert Gunter and Wanda Mae Fowler; and his sister Sandra Girard. He is survived by: his children, Tyler Gunter (Rikki) of Fairview, NC, Devin Gunter (Ashley) of Fairview, NC and Amy Mullen of Fairview, NC; his sister Lisa Ragan of Waynesville, NC; and his close friend Linda Gauntt. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Spring Mountain Baptist Church (11 Spring Mountain Rd, Fairview, NC 28730).
