She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Earwood and Esther Lanning Earwood of Fairview; her husband David Nelson Nesbitt; her siblings, Chester Earwood, Lena Owenby and Dovie Williams Waldrup; her grandsons, Mark Shane Nesbitt and Donnie Ryan Russell; and her son-in-law Gordon Young.
She is survived by: her children, David Nesbitt (Sherry) of Fairview, Glenda Nesbitt of Fairview, Kaye Young of Greer, SC and Wanda White (Steve) of Candler; and her niece Loretta Hooper. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, 15 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (72 Long Shoals Rd, Arden, NC 28704). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
