It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Adelaide Lytle Newman of Fairview, North Carolina, who passed away on October 18, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Jimmy Lytle and Ann Lytle (Southern Gospel); and her parents, Walter Lytle and Adelaide Merrell Lytle. She is survived by: her children, James Newman, Jr. (Karen) of Apex, NC and Cynthia Gilmore (Benjamin) of Statesville, N. C.; her grandchildren, Thea Gilmore (Thomas Pippin), Chloe Gilmore, Rachel Newman and Ian Gilmore; and her great grandchild Adelaide Pippin.
