He was predeceased by: his father John R. Cordeiro Jr.. He is survived by: his mother Dora Rose Cordeiro; his wife Nancy Huebner Cordeiro; his children, Marlena Cordeiro Purdy (Steven), Tina Louise Roberts-Ashby (Brandon) and John Matthew Roberts; his sister Doreen Rose Mooney; his grandchildren, Demi Keefe (Cameron), Tatum Brunette (Christopher), Steven Purdy Jr., John Anthony Purdy, Ian Matthew Roberts, Adalaide Ashby, Abelina Ashby, Arles Ashby and Ailyd Ashby; his great grandchildren, Olivia Brunette, Madilyn Brunette and Liam Keefe; his niece Brittany Mooney Gilmore; and his nephews, Jimmy Mooney, Johnny Mooney and Tommy Mooney. He is also survived by friends, was an avid animal lover, especially dogs.
In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorial donations be made to Charlies Angels Animal Rescue, 5526 Hendersonville Road, Fletcher, NC 28732.
