She was predeceased by: her parents, Ross Merrill and Pauline Merrill. She is survived by: her husband Charles "Fred" Hines; her daughters, Terri Amerson of Summerton, SC, Sherri Hines of Asheville and Danielle Wright of Fairview; her granddaughter Neena Thorpe; and her brother Gene Merrill (Pat). She is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
