Evelyn Gregory Thorpe Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Evelyn Gregory Thorpe of Fairview, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2020 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Gregory and Anna Dalton Gregory; her husband James Z. Thorpe; her sons, Jim Thorpe (Jennifer) and Dean Thorpe; and her siblings, Talmage Gregory, Atlas Anderson, Gladys Moore, Paul Gregory and Wayne Gregory.
She is survived by: her children, Ina Treadway (Bob), Danny Thorpe and Jerry Thorpe (Tina); her daughter-in-law Kathy Thorpe (late Dean Thorpe); and her siblings, Edith Hogan, Alice Rothenburg and Melvin Gregory (Rhoda). She is also survived by 29 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
Facial masks are required and social distancing is recommended.
