Claudia Hendley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Hendley of Fairview, North Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andy Claude and Pearleen May Owenby (Freeman); her grandson Christopher Dakota Owenby; and her siblings, Betty Louise Barker, Dorothy Marie Shoff, Andy Claude Owenby, Jr., Paul Freeman Owenby and Benjamin Jay Owenby.

She is survived by: her son Christopher Scott Owenby of Fairview; her grandsons, Lucas Hoyle of Fairview and Dalton Channey of New Jersey; and her siblings, George R. Owenby (Beverly) of Fairview and Marilyn O. Ledford (Larry) of Bent Creek. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Fairview Baptist Church.
