She was predeceased by: her parents, Geneva Harkins Burns and Ray T. Burns; her husband Howard McFalls; and her sisters, Martha Gilmer, Carolyn Mackey and Patsy Mackey.
She is survived by: her son Tommy McFalls; her grandson Adam McFalls; her great grandchildren, Ashleigh Dewerff (Tyler), Nakiah Trexler, Chelsey Trexler and Sean Duncan; her great great grandchildren, Baron Dewerff, Ayden Dewerff, Geneva Annie Hensley, William Stevens and Clyde Stevens; and her sisters, Dorothy Warwick, Linda Briggs and Sandra Harris (Steve).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Groce Funeral Home (1401 Patton Ave, Asheville, NC 28806). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Cane Creek Cemetery (94 Graveyard Rd, Fairview, NC 28730).
