He was predeceased by: his parents, Welton "Tugan" Locklear, Sr. and Rosa McGirt Locklear; and his siblings, Dorothy Clark, Wanda Susan Locklear, Clint Locklear and Welton Locklear, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hunt; his children, Pam Locklear (Donald Ray) of Fairmont, Terrance Hunt (Georgette) of Fairmont, Curt Hunt (Kay) of Fairmont, J. R and Joseph Morales of Red Springs; his siblings, H. G. Locklear of Fairmont, Ricky Locklear of Fairmont, David McNeill of Lumberton, Bobby McNeill of Fayetteville and Lisa McNeil Daughenbaugh of Garner; and his nephews, James Ray, Patrick Ray, Carey and Eric. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren.
