He was predeceased by: his wife Margie Cassidy Clark; his parents, Wade Clark and Dorothy Clark; his siblings, Diantha Clark-Lockley, Gary Clark and Johnny Clark; his stepsons, Jimmy Cassidy and Frankie Cassidy; his aunt Wanda Locklear; his nephews, Fredrick Maynor, Joshua Brooks and Chad Clark; his niece Brittany Fowler; and his brothers-in-law, Ricky Brooks and Kenny Fowler.
He is survived by: his siblings, Helen Maynor (Freddie) of Fairmont, Debbie Fowler of Fairmont, Terry Clark (Debbie) of Fairmont, Linda Jacobs of Lumberton and June Brooks of Apex; his uncles, H. G. Locklear (Rose) and Ricky Locklear of Fairmont; and his cousin James Jacobs (Ethel) of Lumberton. He is also survived by 15 nieces and nephews; 29 great-nieces and nephews and 14 great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services Chapel (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church (3047 McDonald Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A burial was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at the Lumbee Memorial Gardens (774 Moss Neck Rd, Lumberton, NC 28360).
