She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Carl Thompson and Dorothy Mae Bass Thompson; and her son Jordan Whitley Troublefield. She is survived by: her husband James Troublefield; her children, John Ashley Sellers of Laurinburg, James Troublefield Jr. of Laurinburg, Joshua Troublefield (Shirley) of Sumter, Robert Kessler (Dana) of Montgomery County and Jessica Troublefield Dial (Ricky) of Laurinburg; and her siblings, Forrest Thompson (Gigi) of Laurinburg, Alton Bass (Ranatta) of Laurinburg and Dorothy Mae Thompson of Lumberton. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, along with a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home (812 S Main St, Red Springs, NC 28377). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
