She was predeceased by: her parent Varsie Clinton Hunt; her siblings, Fredrick Ray Hunt and Peggy Gail Lane; her brother-in-law Tony Ray Lane; and her nephew Joshua Ronald Lane.
She is survived by: her mother Ruby Lee Emanuel Hunt of Fairmont; her husband Pablo Sarmiento; her daughters, Lakeshia Locklear (Marcus Ray) of Fairmont, NC and Monika Sarmiento; her siblings, Varsie Junior Hunt (Vanessa) of Harrells, NC, Michael Hunt of Fairmont, NC and Ruby Gail Hunt of Raeford, NC; her sister-in-law Veronica Hunt; her grandchildren, Lucas Sarmiento (Selena), Logan Page Locklear, Dominic and Juliana Sarmiento; and her great grandchildren, Bryson Dakota and Bryleigh Mae Sarmiento. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family members, and friends.
