He was predeceased by: his brothers, Billy Collins and Mack Collins; and his granddaughter Haley Jordan. He is survived by: his wife Virginia "Shug" Collins; his children, David Jack Collins (Kathi) of Hartsville, SC, Troy Collins (Robbin Baxley) of Fairmont and Jackie Michelle Jordan of Nichols, SC; his sister Betty Smith of Lake View, SC; his grandchildren, David Collins of Ben Collins, T. J, Dillon Collins, Harlea Collins, Dallas Collins (Chris Driggers) and Kaylen Newman; and his great grandchildren, Karleigh Collins, Blazely Moore, Hailey Collins and Leah Canady.
