He is survived by: his wife Mary Oxendine; his children, Sheryl Oxendine, Tracy Marie Oxendine (Brian) of Fairmont, NC and Steven Joseph Oxendine (Melody) of Fairmont, NC; his siblings, Robert Oxendine (Barbara Ann) of Lumberton, Evelyn Bilic (Peter) of New Rochelle, NY, Flora Lewis (Randy) of Rowland, NC and Bernice Locklear (James) of Raynham, NC; and his grandchildren, Joseph and Skyla Oxendine. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Dogwood Baptist Church (1417 Iona Church Rd, Rowland, NC 28383).
