It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Arthur Bailey of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bailey and Thelma Blackmon Bailey; and his brothers, Elvin Bailey, Maxton Bailey, Winston Bailey and Joseph Alton Bailey.
He is survived by: his wife Anne Bailey of Fairmont, NC; his children, Frances Kubelle (Frank) of Trumbull, CT, Mark Bailey of Bladenboro, NC, Kimberly Cerino (Tony) of Sherrills Ford, NC, James Bailey (Shannon) of York, SC and Renee Greenberg (Scott) of Sherrills Ford, NC; his sisters, Eula Purtlebaugh of Indiana, Elease Webster of Fairmont, NC and Lila Bufalini; and his pets, Sampson and Ellie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Cooper Funeral Home Chapel (209 Black Branch Rd, Dillon, SC 29536).
