He was predeceased by: his wife Annie Jones; his parents, Bell Jones and Nancy Jones; his siblings, Callie Jones and Willie French Jones; his sons, Roscoe Jones Jr. and Samuel Jones; his grandsons, Matthew Jones and Henry Jones; and his great grandchildren, Hailey Seals and Nathaniel Jones.
He is survived by: his children, Ilene Locklear (Donald) of Rowland, Elene Jones (Lonzo) of Rowland and Timothy Jones of Rowland; and his siblings, Paul Jones (Vivian), Donald Gray Jones (Deana) of Pembroke, Linda Jones of Pembroke and Eunice Locklear (Earlie) of Red Springs. He is also survived by eight grandchildren: thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
