He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Hayes, Sr. and Agnes Hayes. He is survived by: his wife Bernice McQuage Hayes; his stepdaughters, Christine Shaw of Fairmont and Bonnie Sutton (Bob) of Virginia; and his siblings, Bill Hayes (Betty Gail) of Fairmont, Lottie Mae Holden of Cordell, OK. and Alice Faye Hayes. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
