He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Mary B. Floyd, Eldry, Rosetta Thompson, Harvey and Margaret Leonard Jr.; his aunts and uncles, Rev. Wendell Thompson, Eldry Thompson Jr., Rita Powell, Joyce Leonard and Mayola Cain; and his brother-in-law Anthony Blue.
He is survived by: his parents, Angenetta Leonard and James Leonard of Fairmont, NC.; his daughters, Ebonie (Earnest) of Raleigh, NC, Amber Leonard of Raleigh, NC and Ashia McQueen of Dillon, SC; his grandchildren, Jahleel Hunter, Lauren Reid, Ma'layah McQueen, Aria Lovick and Earnest Reid IV; and his siblings, Millicent Leonard, Antonio Leonard (Sheila) of Fairmont, NC and Johnny Leonard.
