It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oliver Yates Stephens of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Starnes Stephens; his daughter Tracye Stephens Jackle (Ryan Jackle); and his brother John Marvin Stephens. He is also survived by nieces, nephews; his dog "Jake," and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Floyd Memorial Cemetery (1591 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
