She was predeceased by: her parents, Gurney W. Scott and Ophelia Ivey Scott; her husband Tracy Owens Townsend; her grandson D. J. Williams; and her sisters, Lucille Townsend, Mildred Nance, Bonnie Willoughby and Brenda Faulk.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vickie Townsend Davis (Tim) and Wanda Townsend Williams (Dave); her grandchildren, Christopher B. Davis (Jessica), Lindsay Davis Humphrey (Alan) and Tracie Williams (Luke); her great grandchildren, Gracie Lynn Davis, Addalynn Davis, Colton Humphrey, Kinsley Humphrey and Dannie Williams; and her nephew Eugene Townsend (Kay). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, March 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Floyd Memorial Cemetery (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340).
