She was predeceased by: her parents, Lonnie Bailey and Maggie Merritt; her husband Franklin Simmons; her children, Ricky Driggers and BurrLynn Simmons; her sisters, Linda Bailey, Laura Gause, Mary Alice Hodge and Margaret Merritt Grimsley; and her great grandchild Crystian Oxendine.
She is survived by: her children, Dennis Simmons of Fairmont and Stephanie Lisa Simmons of Fairmont; her siblings, Lonnie Bailey and Virginia Caulder of Fairmont; her grandchildren, Ricky Corbitt Driggers, Nichole Simmons, Jeremy Simmons, Charles "Smokey" Simmons, Johnathan Simmons, Alex Driggers, Elijah Simmons, Shania Chavis, Brianna Faircloth, Taylor, Kayla Chavis and Adalynn Simmons; and her great grandchildren, Gracie Fields, Braylyn Oxendine, Porter Driggers, Raylyn Hunt, Ricky Hunt, Jr., Dawson Jones, Holden Britt, Braxton Simmons, Sophia Simmons, Nehemiah Chavis, Haydon Simmons, Josiah Williams, Telycia Chavis, Samantha Simmons, Jacoby Simmons, Blaze, Case and Fisher Driggers.
