She is survived by: her husband Earnest Linwood Thompson, Jr.; her siblings-in-law, Harold Bray Thompson, Anna D. Worley and Gardenia Durant Thompson; her daughter-in-law Janice Townsend Thompson; her grandchildren, Eric Emmanuel Thompson II, Pamela, Maya Thompson Metz, George, Marcus Irving Thompson and Brendalyn; and her great grandchildren, Nazaria Kelis, Kamau Azariah, Israel Grace, Ava Joelle, Charis Gabrielle, Ryder Isaiah, Elle Abigael, Charlotte Camille, Aidyn Alexander, Lydia Estel and Marsai Harper.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Worley Mortuary & Cremation Service (200 Sandy St, Fairmont, NC 28340). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (301 N Main St, Fairmont, NC 28340).
