It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leon McLaughlin of Fairmont, North Carolina, born in Dillon, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland McKellar and Dorothy McKellar. He is survived by: his significant other Patricia White; his children, Keith McLaughlin, Jeremy White of Fairmont, NC and Allison White of Fairmont, NC; his grandchildren, Madison McLaughlin, Nevaeh McLaughlin of Goldsboro, NC and Israel "Champ" White of Fairmont, NC; his brother Bobby Reed (JoAnn) of Charlotte, N. C; and his aunts, Mildred "Maggie" Campbell of South Carolina, Margaret "Smokie" Williams of South Carolina, Lennie Bryant of Fairmont, NC and Emma Lee McKellar of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by cousins and friends.
