He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Betty Lou Stackhouse and Theodius Oates, Sr.; his grandmothers, Evergreen Stackhouse and Ada Page; his wife Mattie Robinson Stackhouse; his sons, Larry Stackhouse Jr. (Shantia) of Lumberton and Matthew McCollum (Natasha) of Charlotte, NC; his grandson Bryson Stackhouse; his brothers, Joe Stackhouse and Ronald Stackhouse of Newburgh; his aunt Mary Alice Lesane of Newburgh; and his cousins, Torian Walker, Lela Jones, Stella Wilson and Junior Pittman. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
