It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Barnes of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on July 4, 2020, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Gladys Barnes; his grandparents, Ezra and Retha Barnes; his brothers, Cecil Barnes and Terry Barnes; and his grandson Tyler J. Barnes.
He is survived by: his wife Becky Barnes; his sons, Larry Johnson Barnes (Anita) of Fairmont, NC and Rev. Richard Barnes (Tasha) of Pembroke, NC; his sisters, Dorothy Sanderson of Fairmont, NC, Doris Cohen of Phoniexville, PA and Yvonne Dial of Pembroke, NC; his mother-in-law Dorothy H. Hunt of Fairmont, NC; his grandchildren, Lauren Barnes and Jeremiah Barnes; his great grandchildren, Kayden Barnes and Embrie Barnes; and his granddaughter-in-law Brittany Barnes. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and friends.
