We are sad to announce that on June 12, 2021, at the age of 88, Kathleen Cox of Fairmont, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ashton Cox; her parents, E. N. Dent and Ruth Dent; her son Ronald "Ernie" Cox; and her siblings, John Henry Dent and Mae Hickman.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Cox (Georgia), Kathy McPhatter (Arnold) and Tammy Cox; her siblings, David Dent (Betty), James Dent (Lynnie), Gene Watson (Jean), Pauline Britt, Edna Hickman, Sara Bass (Jimmy), Martha Walters (Harold) and Cara Britt; and her grandchildren, Michelle Lewis (John), Kevin McPhatter (Joy), Keith McPhatter (Shelly), Jason Cox (Heather), Derik Cox (Dorothy) and Mason Cox. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
