It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffie Thomas Phillips Jr. (Fairmont, North Carolina), who passed away on January 14, 2019, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his siblings, David Duncan, Wilton Phillips, Julia Pittman and Velma Helgren. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Phillips; his children, Jeffrey Benton (Emily) of Wilmington, Pamela Dailey (James), Connie Bryant of Lumberton and Jennifer Taylor; and his pet Tinker Bell. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
