It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Powell Bailey of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Powell and Magnolia Carter Powell; her sons, Raymond Bailey and Timothy "Tim" Bailey; her grandson Coty Gibson; and her brother William Powell.
She is survived by: her husband Lonnie "Buddy" Bailey; her children, Lonna Gibson (Randy) of Fairmont, NC, Beth Bailey (Zach) of Orrum, NC and Micheal "Mikie" (LouAnn) of Hurley, VA.; and her brother Johnny Powell of Laurel Hill, NC. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren that she loved dearly; and a host of other family and friends.
