It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Mitchell of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on August 17, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rosetta Ladson and Charlie Ladson; her husband Proctor; and her sons, Cleveland and Percy.

She is survived by: her daughter Ruth Yvonne McGill of Flint, Michigan.
