He is survived by: his wife Ida Pearl Floyd Sutton; his children, Carolyn Sutton Royal (Joe), Horace "Clifton" Sutton, Jr. (Patricia West Sutton), Stinson Sutton (Annette Surles Sutton) and Danny Sutton (Penny Ivey Sutton); his brother Charles Sutton; his grandchildren, Michael Sutton, Deidra Sutton, Sarah Strickland, Steven Surles, Melanie McClellan, Lana Sutton and Scott Sutton; his great grandchildren, Silas, Kathryn, Abel, Braeden, Larkin, Kristi, Savannah, Logan, Aidan, Courtlayn, Blythe, Matthew and Kirsten; and his great great grandchildren, Drew and Erica Grace. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
