He was predeceased by: his parents, William Julius Cummings and Eva Mae Cummings; and his children, Thomas Lynn Cummings and Lolita Rose Cummings. He is survived by: his sons, William Cummings of Clayton, NC and Gordon Cummings (Carolyn) of Rowland, NC; his wife Sarah Cummings; his brother Carl Cummings (Lela) of McDonald, NC; and his granddaughters, Taylor Cummings, Sarah Cummings and Raziah Cummings.
