She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Leroy Meyers and Elvie Brown Meyers; her adoptive parents, Julius Barney Brown and Retha Brown; her husband Jeffie Thomas Phillips, Jr.; her siblings, Donnie Meyers, James Henry Brown and Mary Evelyn Pope; her close friend Kemp Haywood Miller; her daughters, Pamela Phillips Dailey (James), Connie Lynn Phillips Bryant of Lumberton, NC and Jennifer Leigh Phillips; her grandchildren, Amanda Philpot, Tiffany Wilkins, Nicole DeLeon and Brandon Sookkasem; her great grandchildren, Hannah Grace Wilkins and Sean DeLeon; her siblings, William Leroy Brown, Jr. of Charlotte, NC and Linda Smith of Lumberton, NC; and her pet Tinkerbell.
