He is survived by: his wife Joy Allen Floyd; his children, Robbie Floyd of Tabor City, NC, Chris Floyd, Paula Floyd of Whiteville, NC and Jeannie Floyd of Tabor City, NC; and his siblings, Randy Floyd of Nichols, SC, Earl Floyd of Glasgow, KY, Darryl Floyd of Mullins, SC and Judy Floyd of Tabor City, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
