Elizabeth Diane Bass Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Elizabeth Diane Bass of Fairmont, North Carolina, who passed away on December 25, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Duncan McLellan and Virginia Parnell McLellan; her son David Bass; and her siblings, Michael, Tim McLellan and Sandra Suggs.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Bass (Hollie) of Lumberton, NC and Jenny Bass McGee (Bobby) of Fairmont, NC; her siblings, Larry McLellan (Susan) of Big Springs, TX. and Ann Locklear of Fairmont, NC; and the father of her children Jimmy Bass of Fairmont, NC. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Floyd Funeral Services, Inc. (1549 Marion Stage Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Gibson Cancer Center, 1200 Pine Run Drive, Lumberton, NC.
