She was predeceased by: her parents, George Hodge and Nolie Fipps Hodge; her husband Jessie Ray Walters; her siblings, Pete, Sam, Jim, Clayton, Bailey Hodge, Mary Merritt and Lucille Taylor; and her grandson Keith "Toby" Walters.
She is survived by: her children, Wendell "Wendy" Walters (Tonya) of Wadesboro, NC, Anthony "Tenny" Walters (Chrystal) of Tarboro, NC, Royce Walters (Hope) of Myrtle Beach, SC and Anita "Punk" Simons (Tony) of Wadesboro, NC. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
