She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawson Hammonds and Ludie Mae Hammonds; her children, Greg Deron Locklear and Melinda Hunt; and her brothers, Westley Hammonds and Phillip Locklear.
She is survived by: her children, Jamie Hunt and Kimberly Sue Hunt of Durham; the father of her children Ledger Hunt of Fairmont; her siblings, Kathy Hammonds of Fairmont, Barbara Farley (Steve) of Fairmont, Roger Hammonds (Teresa) of Florence, SC and Ronald Hammonds of Fairmont; her daughter-in-law Robin Locklear of Fuquay-Varina; her grandchildren, Brittany Locklear, Warren Locklear, Ramello Wilkins and Damarco Wilkins; her great grandchildren, AJ, Kayson and Marlo; and her nephew Charlie Hammonds of Fairmont. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
