He is survived by: his wife Chandra Britton; and his children, Nate Phillip, Foshina Knight, Tanya King, Randy Smith, David Smith III, Monica Ray, Linwood Britton Jr., Valli Dixon and Timothy Dixon. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
