She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleveland Barnes and Anna Jacobs Barnes; her stepmother Addie Mae Barnes; her brother Larry Barnes; and her daughter Patricia Dimery Oxendine (Randy).
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Locklear (Phil) of Red Springs; and her siblings, Gene Barnes (Linda) of Virginia and Laruth Locklear (Wayne) of Lumberton. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Reedy Branch Baptist Church (3047 McDonald Rd, Fairmont, NC 28340). A funeral service was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
