He is survived by: his children, Cleveland Raymond Carter Jr. (Lashonda) of Fairmont, Zachary Jacob Carter of Benson, Thomas Johnson of Four Oaks, Brandy Carter (Catherine) of Laurinburg and Lashonda McCollum of Red Springs; his siblings, Karl Carter of Selma and Anita Strong of Shannon; and his grandchildren, Tristan Lee Clark, Kody Clinton Carter, Troy Dean Carter, Alissa Carter, Storm Carter and Kimela Brooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
