She was predeceased by: her parents, Quinnie Hunt and Cathleen Jacobs Hunt; her husband Leo Pete Cauldert; and her brother James Perry "Mutt" Hunt. She is survived by: her children, Nelson Caulder (Shelia) of Lumberton, Leroy Caulder, Jr (Melony) of Virginia, Kathy Locklear (Tony) of Lumberton, Barbara Caulder of Fairmont, Onetia Caulder of Fairmont, Jessica Caulder, Jayla and Julianna Sutherland; her grandchildren, Santana Smith, Nicholas Caulder, Ashley Lowery (Carlis), Brandon Caulder, Bryan Caulder, Mercedes Locklear and Travis Caulder; her siblings, Horace Hunt of Lumberton, Geraldine Chavis of Southgate, Dorothy Flow of Charlotte and Lillian Hardin (James Vonnie) of Lumberton; and her close friends, Goldie Cox and Frances Hunt. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
